Who: Blurb® is a book-making platform and creative community that enables individuals to create, publish, share and sell high-quality photo books, trade books, and magazines in both print and digital formats.
What: Create and establish a consistent design direction for Q2 & Q3 that is different from our competitors and appeals to our entire user base- not just one segment.
Why: After coming off one our most successful holiday seasons to date we wanted wanted to keep the momentum heading into the new year. Our holiday campaign primarily focused on our consumer base (i.e. a person who makes 1-2 books a year; usually a photo album). Since the beginning of the year tends to be slow, it was important for us to appeal to our three audiences: consumer, professional, and publishing.
Creative Strategy: Refresh our promotional strategy and email creative, launch weekly email campaigns that are both educational and offer based, incorporat more animation into our content, engage our social media audience by introducing creative contests, and refresh our website so that it aligns with all channels.
