Who: Blurb is self publishing platform, providing a breadth of style creation, back-end operation support, creative control and speed, and a range of distribution options.
What: Create and establish a consistent design direction for Q2 & Q3 that is different from our competitors and appeals to more than just our consumer audience.
Why: After coming off one our most successful holiday seasons to date we wanted wanted to keep the momentum heading into the new year. Our holiday campaign primarily focused on our consumer base (i.e. a person who makes 1-2 books a year; usually a photo album). Since the beginning of the year tends to be slow, it was important for us to appeal to our three audiences: consumer, professional, and publishing.
How: We did this by refreshing our email creative and promotion strategy, launching weekly email campaigns that were both educational and offer based, incorporated more animation in our content, partnered with PicsArt to launch a social media contest, and refreshed our website.
